Kunj Guglani is a research assistant working with global health scientists to apply advanced statistical modeling in the fight against malaria. At the Kids Research Institute in Australia, she supports the Malaria Atlas Project, contributing to the mapping and analysis of disease prevalence and helping inform data-driven public health strategies.

Kunj believes in the power of statistics to drive impactful, real-world change—especially in public health and education. Her academic background includes a Master of Statistics from the Australian National University, where she was awarded the Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship. She also holds an MSc in Mathematics from Panjab University and a BSc in Physical Sciences from the University of Delhi.

Kunj has presented her research on statistics anxiety and differential privacy at leading international conferences, including ECSSC 2024 in New Zealand, the Quality and Productivity Research Conference at the University of Washington (2025), and the International Conference on Statistics and Data Science in Canada (2025). She has also contributed to data consulting projects for EdTech and tourism startups, and has developed digital learning resources during her internship at ANU’s Centre for Learning and Teaching.

With expertise in R, Computer algebra systems, LaTeX, and data visualization tools, Kunj brings a multidisciplinary perspective and a passion for applying statistical thinking to global health challenges.
